Turn your next-gen advanced material into a verified low-carbon product specifiers trust.
For advanced materials like glass pozzolan, SCMs, and other low-carbon alternatives, we make it easy to quantify and verify your Environmental Product Declarations.
Translating production data into a life-cycle assessment is tough—especially when PCRs for new materials don’t exist or are vague. We work closely with your team to pull the right inputs and build a strong, defensible EPD that reflects your innovation.
Sustainability rules and specs shift constantly. One code change can make an EPD obsolete. We track every update and keep your EPDs valid, aligned, and ready for procurement.
Your job is to focus on innovation and improving your product. We handle the entire Environmental Product Declaration process from start to finish, minimizing disruption to your operations.
Buyers are wary of marketing claims—especially for new materials. We back your product with a transparent, verified EPD that specifiers can trust and compare against traditional options.
New producers often aren’t sure what an EPD should include. We define the scope properly and lay out the carbon footprint in clear terms, so your team and your customers get it. Turn your innovation into credible data buyers trust.
It can be hard to see ROI if you think of it only as appeasing regulators. We help get your EPDs into the hands of designers and specifiers, so that the effort you put into an Environmental Product Declaration comes back to you.
Backed by a decade of advanced materials and Environmental Product Declaration expertise — here’s what advanced materials producers ask us most.
We work entirely around your schedule. Using your existing logs, energy records, transport info, and basic production data, we build the EPD with minimal time from your staff. You’ll stay focused on operations and innovation while we handle modeling, documentation, and verification in the background.
Even if your material isn’t named directly, these policies shift demand downstream. Concrete producers bidding on Buy Clean projects now need EPDs for SCMs and other advanced materials to demonstrate their products meet low-carbon requirements when using your materials. We help you provide that documentation so your product stays in the mix — and becomes more attractive to those customers.
Yes. As low-carbon concrete is in higher demand across public and private sectors, more DOTs, city agencies, and green builders are requiring EPDs for every ingredient in the mix. With a published and verified EPD, your product becomes eligible for specs that would otherwise be closed to suppliers who offer less transparency.
It would depend on the product category and the applicable regional standards. For most advanced materials that follow the ISO 21930 core PCR, the scope would be "cradle-to-gate", which means including everything from sourcing or receiving raw material to the moment the final product leaves your production facility. Most advanced materials following the EN 15804 core PCR would be "cradle-to-grave" and would include all life cycle stages through to the end-of-life for the product in question. We define this clearly for you and help document each step to avoid confusion or rejection during verification.
Yes — credibility and consistency are core to our process. We follow ISO standards and ensure your EPD is third-party verified, so it holds up to customer and regulator scrutiny.
Without support, you’re looking at months of work and uncertainty over verification steps. We’ve done this dozens of times and know exactly what’s needed, which reduces your cost and timeline dramatically. Most of our advanced material projects take a bit longer than other product categories, as our LCA experts research the unique material, but we still are typically looking at mere weeks rather than months.
Advanced materials don’t always have dedicated PCRs, so we use the standard core PCR for construction materials for advanced materials. If your product is an SCM we will apply the SCM PCR if operating in the North American region. While the sub-category PCRs for specific products like SCMs are typically on 5 year update cycles, ISO and EN standards are typically updated every 10-15 years. We keep tabs on updates and ensure your documentation stays valid and aligned with the latest standards.
You’ll need your energy use (electricity, natural gas, or other fuels), inbound and outbound transport distances, any water consumption, and materials used in production. If you already track production or efficiency metrics, we can usually build from there. We help organize and clean the data so your EPD is based on solid, auditable inputs.
