Climate Earth Joins ECO Platform

March 23, 2022

Building on our shared commitment to provide immediate all digital access
to credible and scientifically correct environmental product data

Richmond, CA.  Climate Earth has joined ECO Platform, a membership organization whose mission is to promote and to contribute to sustainable development, including a low-carbon economy and resource efficiency in the construction sector, by coordinating the development and provision of credible and scientifically correct data from products.

Climate Earth looks forward to participating in and working together with the members of ECO Platform to accelerate the interchange of digital product data  that can be used throughout the world as a standard format for environmental product declarations. Easily accessible electronic  EPD data will further help the concrete industry achieve its goals for sustainability and the reduction of carbon in construction.

“We are delighted to become part of ECO Platform. We first delivered digital EPDs in 2018 in North America, and have posted over 38,000 EPDs digitally to  program operators and to the EC3 platform here in North America.  We are very excited to extend our interface to support the ECO Platform standard in Europe and are looking forward to helping and supporting the growth of a European standard and to create a future where  worldwide interchange of EPD data is common practice.”                                                    Chris Erickson, CEO, Climate Earth
